Ok so iPhone 12 has been out just over 5 months now. I was wondering how is everyone’s Ceramic Shield displays holding up in terms of scratches? Especially those who go case-less and no screen protector...
I’ve had it since launch, I go without protector and I just held it up in direct sunlight, and I saw absolutely zero fine scratches....nothing at all, and I’m pretty sensitive to these things! Even my 11 pro max showed light scratches after 2-3 months. I’m pretty careful with it and use pocket without anything in
I’m super impressed with the durability of Ceramic Shield, and also the sides of the gold colour ...also showing no defects at all 5 months in

No case or screen protector, and definitely less micro scratching on the screen compared to the 11 Pro I had before the current 12 Mini. The Ceramic Shield seems to do what it says on the tin.

I have absolutely no scratches on my launch day 12 PM. I had a ton on my 11 PM by this time of the year last year. It’s definitely way more scratch resistant than any iPhone I’ve had before

No scratches on it and it survived several falls, until it didn’t. Apple replaced it under AppleCare+ Then they broke it while repairing it, giving me a new phone. I was a no case guy up until that point. Now I have a clear MagSafe case.
