How long are iPhones sold out on Apple.com?

Discover Deals has 5% off for stuff on Apple.com as long as it's not a preorder. I was wondering how long after the 16th I'll have to wait for the website to show in stock where I can order it? I know it's not to hard to go into the store to get one, but I thought I remember the website often showing the phone being sold out for a week or month or something. I'm trying to decide if saving the extra money is worth the wait and how long that wait will be...

to be blunty honest with you, you'll probably lose more money than saving that 5%. if you are really looking to save few uncle sams. then buy one tonight, sell it off brand new in box to local crag (usually they can bring it hefty markups since they will be sold out ) and you probably bought it full price(then its unlocked). you can expect to net anywhere from 100-300or even higher sometimes in compare to your 5% lets say 5% saving of sparking $1000= $50....bucks man.
its your money again, just putting my 2 cents in since i have an friend makes living out of this and bartering (which is really surprising to me 5 yrs and still going)

its all about compromise lol or sell it on ebay( you will get way more than crag, but same time you have to pay fees and so on ) crag->more money ebay->less money but more work.
