How long before Apple drops trade in value?

Apple store trade in value is $375 which is fair since I only paid about $100 more for it. How long do I have before they drop the trade in value?

Also really curious - would love to trade in my iPhone 7 as opposed to competing with the Craigslist/online masses prior to the new release. If I can justify the upgrade at all...

they offer $135 for a iphone 6 which is utterly pathetic. i can get at least 50% more from craigslist within a few hours of posting

They are offering $425 for my 128gb 7plus. Hoping they still offer it in February when the 8 is readily available.

I thought the trade in didn't cover the newest device until the next generation is released? Has something changed?
