How long before I quit treating my 2017 MBP 15" like a delicate flower?

I don't feel it's at all fragile and certain

I use hardcase just as much to protect furniture and wooden floors. In my case it is an 11" Macbook Air and it does have some very sharp corners.

Some if you would be horrified how I treat my Mac's no skins, no hard cover, just throw em in a bag, with a second notebook, fly around the world with em. Clean em when they look grubby with whatever's to hand, they all stand up pretty well, given they are all well used and abused...
