How long did it take for Apple to replace your rMBP screen?

Thinking of taking the notebook to the Apple store for them to replace my bad LG SJA1 screen, but not sure if I can stay away from the computer for 3-5 business days. How long did yours take to be replaced?

2 hours, but that depends on their workload.

I envy you. We don't have an official Apple Store in Portugal so we need to take our Macs to authorized support technicians. For me, it took 20 days

on 2 occasions, both were <= 24 hrs.

They tell you 3-5 days, but typically it's not that long. I dropped mine off in the afternoon and had it back the next morning.

20 hours.. and thats without any Apple stores.

I dropped mine yesterday around 3:30 at the Upper West Side store in NY. Let's see when I hear back.

My computer passed the test, but I knew I had the problem and showed them where the image is retained.

Hopefully get a Samsung screen.

3 days. Was a little long but they replicated the issue on my screen. From what I have been reading, apple is only using samsung replacements... Again, this is from reading forums like this and elsewhere, not fact.
