How long did your MacBook Pro 2010 17" last?

Hello, I am still using my laptop although I did not use it all the time for four years. For those whose MBP 2010 17" is dead, how long did it last? What are the common causes of dead?

Mine was replaced by Apple for free after I sent it for repairing for about five times (due to infamous GPU, battery, keyboard and screen issues) and Apple was still unable to fix the issues.

My gpu carked it just recently. So 6 and a bit years, I think it's been charger only for two years now

Occasionally I see colorful horizontal lines in the middle of the screen. It happened more often few months ago but haven't seen this issue for the past two weeks. Is this a sign that gpu might fail soon?

Had a 2010 15". It started to suffer from gpu kernel panics. Had the capacitor replaced, no more panics and I just sold it on Craigslist.
