I got a bunch of apple gift cards in Dec 09 and was wondering.... Apple states on their website that they have the right to limit the amount of cards used for one purchase and I couldn't find any info on when a card might start to lose value (some companies put a monthly fee on older gift cards). Anyone know what the time limit and amount limit for one purchase is?

Does the Apple Gift Card expire?
Apple does not place an expiration date on Apple Gift Cards. However, there may be rules defined by the laws of your state that require Apple to terminate your right to use your Apple Gift Card if you have not used it within a specified number of years. Under those laws, Apple is required to attempt to contact you before terminating your right to use your card.
