Just bought a new iMac and haven't bought AppleCare yet, how long do I have to do so? 90 days? Is there a time limit?

Looks like eBay has the lowest price for it, anyone else know of a good site to buy it discounted?

You've got a full year from the purchase of your Mac to buy AppleCare.

L.A. Computer. I got mine from them. They have fast, reliable service and none of the potential hassles one could potentially encounter on auctions.

If you value telephone support, then you have only 90 days, otherwise your general warranty will last a year and you can purchase Applecare up until it expires.

I've had good luck with Amazon's third party sellers. Just make sure you get a sealed copy (to be safe).

Correction, you have one year to purchase and register the Applecare online, or it is invalid.

Also if you have never registered the machine purchase with Apple in the first place, Apple will assume the warranty starts on the manufacture date, not your purchase date, so your 1 year warranty may be up sooner than you think.
