I’ve never pre-ordered an iPhone before. Do they usually arrive on launch day or before? Not sure if it matters but I’m in the US.

As the others said, if you get your order in quick (first 10-20 minutes) you'll get a launch day phone. Note that the chances of you receiving your phone BEFORE launch day are very small. Apple coordinates with FedEx and UPS so that orders go out as scheduled and not early or late. Apple will penalize the shippers for either one.

If you're interested at all, using your tracking number you can get a good idea of what aircraft your package might ship on and you can follow it via flight tracking. I did that with my launch day iPhone 5.

Wow. Yeah I’m on the east coast and will be up and ready when pre-orders start. No case for me.

Whats even the price difference from 512GB to 1TB?

I swear. If I order 512GB. My OCD will kick in badly and I don't want to be stressed out until next September thinking why I don't have the best of the best iPhone in the market.
