How long did it take you to repair your permissions because mine just sits at less than a minute, please help me out because its really bugging me. This is after the 10.5.2 update by the way. Thanks in advance

This is normal, and has been before 10.5.2 unfortunately.

so does it actually repair them or does it just sit at less than a minute and do nothing? If it actually does how long would you say it takes?

seems like it takes about 4 minutes before it changes from the less than a minute estimate to about 4 minutes and then after about 5 more minutes it finishes.

only really need to run in every month and before and after updates. even then its overkill. used to take me about 15s to repair permissions in Tiger now it takes about a minute and my fans rev up.
