Purchased space black iPhone 14 Pro Max from Apple using Verizon’s financing (device payments).

Returned it because I wanted to get deep purple instead. Apple said I am not eligible for another device payment until it clears off of Verizon’s systems and then I can repurchase a new iPhone.

Anyone have experience with this? How long does it take for Verizon to remove and reset the iPhone I originally purchased?

You should be able to call Verizon and tell them you returned the phone so they can reset your upgrade status in their system immediately so you don’t have to wait.

What a PITA. Spent over an hour on the phone with Apple and Verizon Wireless and still no resolution. Verizon rep said I need to go into the Apple Store and have them call Verizon to have it removed.

I feel like I’m getting goofed around here!

I may just wait a week and hopefully it resolves itself out.
