I have a Macbook Pro 13" mid 2012 model.
Apple says that the battery should last 1000 cycles. After my battery is at 1000 cycles how many hours battery life could I expect to get?

And how many hours could it get at around 750 cycles?

There are many factors that impact your battery life. See the BATTERY LIFE FROM A CHARGE section of the following link for details, including tips on how to maximize your battery life.

The link below should answer most, if not all, of your battery/charging questions. If you haven't already done so, I highly recommend you take the time to read it.

you will know when the battery is nearing the end of it's life, keep a look out at the battery stats, it will say replace soon, replace now etc, I say if your health is below 40% I would change it I have a mid 2009 model and after updating to ML I get about 2.5 hours or so with 50% Health once it hits 30% I'll replace it

It all depends on how you use it. There's no one-size-fit-all answer for the questions you're asking.
