How long does the new update take?

Mine updated but now it's just been sitting flashing a white light for almost an hour.

Mine took about 5 minutes. Are you just seeing the circle of death or an all white screen? I'd probably unplug/replug.

Mine took 5 minutes total from download to install. I would restart it (unplug).

Not even that... the itunes/usb thing came on the screen, then it went black, now the white light flashing on the box.

I've unplugged it and done that, and it just shows the iTunes logo with the USB again. Ugh.

It takes 5 - 10 minutes once the update is downloaded.

probably bricked it, plug it into your computer with a USB micro (no power cord needed) and restore it.
