I'm not surprised. I waited over an hour this afternoon to speak with an AT&T premier rep. I'm sure the Apple reps are swamped with calls today. Hopefully you'll get through soon.
 
Well, I don't really have a choice to wait. I won't be at my house to get my phone next Friday. I'll be at work.
 
An hour and ****ing 47 minutes. And this is after two phone calls from earlier today that after an hour I didn't have the time anymore and had to hang up.
 
17 minutes, must be my lucky day. I was prepare for 1hr+ but glad I didn't have to wait that long.
 
I gave up after 35 minutes. I can't get my phone any earlier lol, there was no point and I knew it.
 
Almost two and a half hours now.

I did try to change it online, but it won't let me. It's set to the billing address I had set up with ATT when I ordered the phone. Had I known that was going to be an issue, I would have fixed the address on ATT days ago.
 
I waited 2 hours 10 min this afternoon.
But you guys, browse the threads for some tips. Someone said they called and asked for non-iPhone sales, and then asked to be transferred to "shipping". Others apparently tried this and it worked at around 30-40min total time spent.worth a shot if you have another phone to try this way.

I was on the phone for an hour and a half earlier...never got through. Say what you want "the iPhone was just released today"! If they were going to expect a high call volume, why didn't they prepare for it? A 3 hour hold time is not preparing properly. I don't care what you have to say.
 
1 hour 53 minutes around 2 this afternoon. Like someone said I understand they are swamped but they need to step it up a little...

Ha ha, too true! They had issues with the live steaming as well...I wonder what was up with that. Whoever they recently hired to do internet support and think of a good call flow seriously needs an evaluation.

Yup. This wasn't their first rodeo not sure how you can not be prepared for it?!
 
I was on hold for 30 minutes yesterday. Had to update payment method so I wouldn't lose my pre-order. Thankfully it's been resolved and my 6+ will be in my hands in a week. :)
 
It took an hour and a half to change my billing name. Its probably bogged down with idiots asking stupid questions about the phones when the info is way easier to find online...
