My 2 month old MBP just went back int he mailer today ? I expect probably a mainboard swap. Everything works except my onboard LAN/ethernet port.

Just curious how quick Apples response time is ?

On my previous edition 2.33ghz C2D, I had an LCD, front latch, superdrive, and top keyboard panel; all parts replaced and the laptop back on my doorstep within four days.

You can expect it back within 3-4 days *if all parts are in stock*
My last repair required additional parts and ended up taking 10 business days to complete. Let's just say I wasn't particularly thrilled with Applecare at that point.

this is my 1st apple. Lenovo/IBM is literrally 1 day turnaround.
They usually repair and ship back out the same day they get it.....

granted, rare cases of delays due to parts, but Lenovo/TP has always been my workhorse laptop prior....

not flame on Apple. Maybe one day when it hits the business market heavy.
