My ring finger is much longer on both hands...at least half an inch, closer to three quarters.

While we were sort of on the topic of urban legends I was just joking that we should measure the lenght of the male foot to see if... ummm.. its related to... ummm.. the size of... ummmm.. the shoe size a guy wears! :D :eek:
 
I love the ratios of the body, e, and all that jazz. My IQ is 1.61 times larger than my biggest toe. :cool:

OMG, never knew that one... I must be a freak then, cus it only works when I measure my shoe as well, my foot is slightly smaller than the lenght from my elbow to my wrist.
 
Mine is shorter... according to the poll I'm in the minority :eek:

well...

My 1st finger and 3rd finger are the same length. My second finger is about 1.5 cm longer than these two and my pinkie is the short one. Not sure what that means (the 1st and 3rd equal thing) but I am gay.

As for my feet, they are at the ends of my legs - nowhere near my elbow and wrist! :rolleyes:

And my little iAlan is longer than my fingers while asleep and I have no idea compared to my feet when he is up and running! :)
 
are you supposed to look at the fingers as they are arranged on the hand or measure each finger from the crease where the finger starts and compare?
 
Mine are the same length.

ditto...the one I know is "your nose is the length of your pointer finger from the tip to the knuckle." [my mom is an artist]
 
So if on one hand it is shorter and on the other it is longer, what then? Does one have a split personality? :D
 
Well, I have never known the names of the various fingers... so I assume the "ring finger" lies to the outside (palms down) of the middle finger and the "index finger" lies on the inside of the middle finger.

This being the case, on my right hand my ring finger is about an inch longer. On my left hand, my index finger is only marginally longer. I am right-handed.

I have no idea what any of this means, but I am a guy confused by attempts to figure out which finger is which, so that's no surprise...
