Can you elaborate on this?2 years. That is when future depreciation meets financial outlay (you'll lose $200 annually). Keeping it any longer makes no sense.
You take the largest depreciation loss in the first year normally, but not as much the second year. You will lose an average of $200 per year in depreciation as long as you keep the phone at least two years. After 2 years you normally will continually lose $200 more annually in depreciation. Therefore, it makes the most sense to upgrade every two years. You are either going to fork over another $400 or so for a new phone every two years (after selling your old phone) or take $200 a year in depreciation. This is all based on your phone being in good shape and you reselling it yourself instead of taking less by trading it in. 2 years is the sweet spot financially. Can you elaborate on this?
It is hard! But if I make it past October the temptation fades 😂 and honestly I was a lot less tempted by the 15s then I thought I would beI usually do 2 years but as ive gotten older I realise the value of money more and that I need to hold on for longer.. my last iPhone SE I did 3 years and for this 14 pro max I've set myself a 5 year goal!
its tough to resist temptation
