How long does it usually take for something to ship from Apple after being "prepared for shipment?"

I think mine shipped within a day. Don't get too excited though.
Mine sat in Hong Kong (Lantau Island) for about 5 days after leaving the factory.

I actually ordered one of the new docks, so hopefully it won't get the same treatment.
