My MBP should be here either Friday or Monday. Along with the new system, I've purchased RAM and hard drive upgrades to install myself. I'm wondering... how long should I wait to make sure the system itself is "ok" before making the upgrades?? I don't want to drop in the RAM and drive right away and then have an issue with the computer.

Thoughts?

Calibrate the battery and use the computer for the rest of the day, any issues should be apparent within 48 hours.

RAM is a really easy install though, it's not a problem if you plonk it in striaght away. Hard drive will void the warranty.
