How long until premier optimized for Mac Pro 7;1?

I’m really not impressed with the performance of the Macpro in premiere, it barely seems to be using the video card or CPU. Do you think we’ll see optimization anytime soon or should we start looking into avid or Final Cut?

Adobe is very invested in Nvidia and CUDA acceleration. Even though they support Metal, their implementation is lacking compared to support for CUDA and the support for Metal in FCPX and Resolve. Depending on your needs, I'd be looking at one of those options.
