I'm contemplating to replace the battery of my MacBook 2015, as it says I should service the battery.
How long do you think will apple support this MacBook with the latest OS.
CPU and Graphics are not the strongest. So I'm bit afraid they will drop support early as they already discontinued selling it.

2-3 more years would be enough for me.

Just relaying some information to help you make a more informed decision.

According to Apple's own compatibility webpage:

macOS Catalina is compatible with:

* MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012)
* MacBook Air (11-inch, Mid 2012)
* MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, Early 2015) <-- is this your model?
* iMac Pro (2017)
* iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2012)
* Mac mini (Late 2012)
* Mac Pro (Late 2013)

If it were me, assuming a MacBook 2015, I would consider either buying a new model or replacing the battery and be happy staying with Catalina.

Spend the $199 for a battery replacement (at a brick-n-mortar Apple Store) and be happy about it.
The 2015 still has years to go.
I have one, it's still just fine.

I even kept my 2010 MBPro (upgraded with an SSD) that still boots and runs pretty well, too!
