You count from the launch year, in this case 2019. So at least 5 iOS iterations from iOS13 (launch iOS version). So that means iOS18 at the least. Since the 6s still gets iOS15, that could mean the iPhone 11 can potentially get iOS19 (2025 - 2026).Apple is supporting its iPhones for at least 5 years. I know that. But for a phone that has a release date of 2019 and bought new from Apple in 2021, how to count the 5 years? Should I expect it to get updates only till 2024? Or 2026?
Wrong, first iDevice to have more than 1GB of RAM is the Air 22024 for major iOS updates but it's likely to be even longer. It has 4GB RAM. The 6s and SE1 were the first to have more than 1GB RAM, I believe, which is probably a major factor in them being compatible with iOS 15.
I obviously meant for iPhonesWrong, first iDevice to have more than 1GB of RAM is the Air 2
and the 6s in this field was revealed at the same time as 12.9 inch pro and mini 4 both with more than 1GB of RAM?
