Have a very very long flight of 12hrs coming up next week and was wondering how long will the Note 3 play movies before the battery goes down and out?

I will have a mophie charger pack with me but I'm bringing like 12 movies with me to accommodate for both there and back. My iPad only has room for 2 so I'm figuring it will do for those two at which time I'll recharge my phone.

I keep the brightness at about 60-75% depending on the surrroundings.

Thoughts?

Never tried it without phone/wifi/Bluetooth all running at same time. But with all those running and ending day at around 50% power left, I can easily get another 2 HD movies in streaming via Plex. And when turning in for night, I've still got 10-15% battery left.

So if you turned off everything and just ran the movie from the SD card...I'd have to say you could easily get 10 hours out of the device.

On sat, via chromecast, the play store and on my friend's HDTV, I watched 2 episodes of The Walking Dead season 4 and my percentage dropped @ 6-7% (everything on). After more than 4 months, my battery (ies - I have a spare) lasts just as long as ever.

Ok, No lie, Full battery 100%. Airplay mode is on, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth is off, mobile data is off. I watched Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King (which is like 3-4 hours long) and it went from 100% to 20% around 3/4 of the movie. I have the Samsung Galaxy Note II. Amazing. if your really die hard. The Samsung galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition got me through the whole Lord of the rings: return of the kings with 24% battery remaining. Galaxy note II with a 3100 mAh. Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition 8800 mAh battery. Beasts. to top that the new Galaxy NotePro 12.2 got me through the Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug with 33% battery left. No Wi-Fi, Bluetooth off. Airplane mode one. brightness at 80%. Enjoy!!!!

Update on need

Thanks for the replies and updates. Given that I want to be sure i can make it the full 12-14hrs with my phone going strong, I bought a Portable Power Max - 16000 mAh battery pack. Charging it now and am confident with this one and my other 6,400 one that I'll be good to go :D

Likely could have bought it cheaper online but for $99 at AT&T, I'm good. It's a work expense anyway.
