Any reviews of the speaker for music listening? Curious to see how well you can hear your music while jogging or in a warehouse/factory.

I think it it's good for what it needs to do and the size of it. I'd say they're holding back for it could sound like in the future. If it had the equivilent speaker on the other side too it with Atmos sound, it would really be killer.
I'd say it has to be a relative quiet environment around for you to hear the audio well from the watch.
Just dissapointed it wont play audio from the watch from TuneIn...it wants to just play to the phone.

Will it work with plexamp on iphone to stream the music to the watch and through it's speakers?

Sad to hear that music listening isn't good on it.

because nothing screams amazing atmos experience more than 2 tiny little speakers spaced about an inch apart on your wrist.

would be pretty useless even for stereo, maybe if you were holding your watch against your forehead. Time for a new accessory, sweat band with a watch attachment on the front.

both of those work for AirPods because the sound is directly going into your ear from each speaker, once it starts bouncing around the environment you'll loose any speaker separation.

Sad to hear that music listening isn't good on it.
probably why it's never been included up till now, there's really no way to make it a good experience given the size of the speakers.

I'm obviously being completely dumb.... how do I direct music to come out of my watch speaker? It only ever seems to play through my phone. Ultra 2 on watchOS 11 supports it like S10 but I'm banging my head against a wall. Does it only work with music stored on the watch?

EDIT: This explained it

I used to be one of those who took the idea of playing multimedia from the watch as a bit of a joke, but yesterday I decided to do a meditation session when I was in bed and... it's the ideal device to do it. Without having to put on/take off your headphones and/or without having to touch your phone.
