We shall see. The old lady and I just had a conversation yesterday about getting started within the next couple of years. Life is going to get interesting quite soon....

Let's just say I won't lose the will to live over a phone; my estimated delivery is Nov 17th-24th. I'd be damned if I defected to anything else, besides my Air 2 arrives this week so I should be consoled

That said ...I just want the phone

If you want the phone on launch day, wake up and be fast about it. The only logical complaint is that Apple can't make enough iPhones to match demand, but you have to realize that there are actual workers (humans like you and me) making them who are already stressed enough to make new phones.

been over a month since release. by the time my wife gets her 6+, the 6S will be closer!

Nothing new here. The availability of the iPhone 5s was pretty restricted where I live until sometime in November. I'd give the 6+ a couple of additional weeks before widespread availability is common.

This is actually the first iPhone that I've had to wait for. I'm pretty impatient but my phone came sooner than expected and it was worth the wait.

I didn't have to wait much, got it the day after it was released. I didn't wait in line or pre order either. It was the best iPhone buying experience for me!

I am mad because people who ordered the same exact phone as me from ATT are getting their phone, even though I ordered on 9/13 and they ordered in Oct. If it was FCFS I wouldn't be angry.
Just wondering why you didn't preorder through Apple? I preordered at 3:00 AM on the Apple Store app. Although the order process was a cluster**** and I ended up with gold instead of preferred silver, I received my 64 Plus on launch day. Return/exchange process is easier (if needed) through Apple as well so I always wonder why people order through the carriers instead?

I realize it's easy for me to say because I've had mine a month and I understand the frustration at waiting but try to remember - it's just a phone! A new, improved version of beloved iPhone but still, just a phone. Go get your battery replaced at Apple - they'll possibly do it for free because of iPhone 5 battery recall - and your old phone will have more value if you sell it or hand it down to a loved one.

I bet all the people that judged the nerds for waiting up until 12.00 AM to order their phones are all regretting it now!

But no really, I'd just have to wait it out. It's not a huge deal, although I'm sure I'd be annoyed af.

Dear Santa ...

Get an early move on it fella! This holiday is gonna suck! AT&T 64G white/gold not shipping until mid-Nov (ordered 01 OCT). I was told iPhone 6 Plus not shipping until Dec right now. (Per AT&T) When my Dad is ready for upgrade in December there's no telling when he'll get it. I'm patient. But, I don't like when I am paying for something and you can't even give me a confirmation email, or even one telling me the ship date is changed. Pretty much leaves me looking like a #sittingduck

Not mad at all. Got my iPhone 6 Plus on launch day, and I think the Apple Store I picked it up at handled the release very well.
