How many of you have actually done the update to v1.1.1 and are happy with your decision?

I admit I did it, but which I could undo it..

So far I haven't seen any posts here indicating that the update has any added features, so I see no point in updating. Maybe after they have everything sorted out for the ifuntastic and installer.app I'll consider upgrading, but it does not seem to be anything more special about this update than the previous two.

What?!

I updated, I miss App Tap, but the Safari and iPod stability are well worth it. It's starting to not feel like a RevA first Gen machine now.

I think I'll go for it... seems most people who have not customized their phones are pretty happy with the update...

...here goes... :D

It adds:

-WiFi Music Store
-Double-Tap Space For Period
-Double-Click Home Button For Phone Favorites or iPod From Anywhere
-And More

I don't use it as a ipod. The storage is too small to be useful as a ipod for me, and I have a 60 gig 5G. I also don't have any stability problems with the phone with 1.0.2.

^^^^ yeah what he said

i did it... i miss my custom stuff. i wont use the iPhone to download stuff from the apple store....ever.. is there a way to go back??

Really didn't need to. The wifi store (obviously) only works with a decent wifi network, which really is my house, so if I am going to be 10 feet from my computer why not do it there.

While my iPhone is stock other then some ringtones, I wish to keep them more then the new features 1.1.1 offers so for the moment I am staying on 1.0.2 and iTunes 7.4.1.

I did it, I don't have any apps right now and I did it out of curiosity more than anything. The Wi-Fi store looks good, some tweaks, my edge connection doesnt seem to be randomly dropping like it used to but I'll test that further. A decent update in some respects but there are still numerous things to address (MMS, copy & paste, email mass deleting, ichat, etc).

Update done... iTunes looks good, may use that from time to time when I hear a song on XM in the car and want to buy it. The phone (email esp) seems zippier. Deleting messages is still a PITA, but goes faster now.

I had to go through a lot to get it done but finally I did and I am happy with all the changes Apple has made and I can only that every month Apple rolls out a new update partialy catering to the issues and partially taking out new applications.

Although I really wanna play with the iTunes store, I have decided to wait a few days to see how things pan out.

My phone functions quite well, no problems or complaints. There are only 2 reasons I will upgrade right away.

1) Security update
2) Major bug fix that I am experiencing, or would experience.

Not to mention when I heard you can't roll back from 1.1.1 that stopped me dead in my tracks from even thinking about it. I don't like that idea, and with the new app signing and encryption I am pretty pissed about it. Although there aren't any apps I _need_, I don't appreciate Apple or any company treating me like a child ... telling me what I can or can't install.

Side note for anyone who did upgrade, does the iTunes store support podcasts ? (Downloading, updating, searching, subscribing) This is my main interest in it.
