How many Apple Remotes do you own?

I have one, its fairly scratched and used, i mainly just have it next to my bed so when i am watching a film, i can just sleep the machine without getting out,

I have around 5, maybe more. One for my Macbook Pro, one for my iMac, one for my iPod, one for my macbook, and I really don't know where this one came from.

I work for a school district with over 1500 macs, each one comes with a remote, but we dont leave them with the computer, hence the box.

My district buys a majority of the macs used for students in the 17 inch old white version, which is still available for purchase for education customers.. which dont come with the apple remote. However, for administrative use, we buy the entry level 20 inch with extra ram... This model comes with the remote, and is just included for the administrator.

Do you guys let your administrators keep the remote, or are they confiscated also?

As another poster mentioned, there is an option in System Preferences--> Security--> General to pair the remotes so not very Mac works with every remote.

Three. One from my iMac, one from my MacBook Pro, and one sent to me from the New York Apple Store over to the UK, including a USB IR receiver as a gift from the staff for some unknown reason.

We only have a few administrators that use macs, and they can have there remote.
