Uno. I'm waiting to see if they get upgraded to 1080p before I spring for another one. I have 2 more rooms that could use one and make my house all magical and stuff. :apple:

I only have the one. They're very nice devices and I'm so glad I got it a little bit cheaper from buying it refurbished :p

    2. One in the living room and one in the bedroom.

I was waiting for this most recent Apple keynote, hoping for a 1080p ATV2. But the rumors seem to indicate that won't happen this year.

So I got a refurbished ATV2 from Apple.com for $85 for the bedroom. If a new one comes out soon, I'll get it and give one of my old ones to a relative.

    1. I could use another one for the spare bedroom that is set up as the home gym, but alas, I only have an old CRT tv in there. The Wii does ok for now for Netflix, but it would be nice to have access to my iTunes media as well.

I have two. Living room and bedroom. The one in the living room also feeds a TV in my office via two HDMI outputs on my receiver.

I have three. Two are jailbroken and have XBMC installed. One is "pure" and I've recently upgraded it to iOS5. From what I understand, you can jailbreak iOS5 on the ATV2, so I'll probably get them all upgraded/jailbroken soon.

I could make use of 1-3 more, but I'm still hoping to see 1080p output soon. Now that they've acknowledged 1080p via the iPhone 4S, I definitely think it will happen, but who knows when. That said, the other neat thing about this box is that it's so tiny and only requires two cables plugged into it, so you could easily get by with just one and move it from room to room if you wanted to.

For < $100 (and with no moving parts and no care about it looking pretty and scratchless, you may as well buy it as a refurb to save even more), it's definitely a great little box.
