More apps just means more battery spent updating. I have hundreds of games and apps in my library, but only use a few.

That's nothing. I have about 2,000 iOS games in my library. I wish I could fit them all on my device! 😁

I have actually deleted a lot of apps as IOS is upgraded as many of these scamming app makers seem to want users to pay a idiotic monthly subscription or ridiculous fees for in-app purchases. I have less apps now than I did 4 or 5 years ago.

I used to travel a lot for work so would usually have 3-4 apps for each city, usually the local transit apps plus a bunch of airline, hotel, and car rental apps...

39 applications. Weird, because it seems like a lot. I only use WhatsApp, Phone, Text, Spotify, YouTube, Clock, Notes, Calculator, health, weather, banking, Pinterest, Instagram, Uber & google maps. Currently on red iPhone 11/ 64Gb.

I’m very minimalistic. I could get it down to even less but I don’t like using the web version of some of the apps. It’s just a lot easier logging in with Face ID to check this or this, or pay a bill.
