Just curious how many Browsers do you have downloaded, and list them In order of usage. I recently switched to Firefox 3.5 to be my default from Safari 4. So I'm only using two, but probably will try Opera and looking forward to Chrome when it comes out.

I've been using Safari since it came out as my main browser. I've got Firefox on my computer, but it never gets used. Some years back I had a copy of Camino, but I never liked it.

I have nearly all browsers from Firefox to lesser known such as Omniweb. However I seldom use anything but Safari. :D

Safari on my mac. On my work PC I use Safari and then IE8 as a backup for all our web pages that are written "poorly." ;)

Safari. Firefox is good but I just like Safari's simplicity and speed. I'm on SL right now so I don't even know if Firefox works 100% properly.

Safari is 99%. Camino is 1%. Camino is just a backup browser in case something happens to Safari. :)

Safari renders pages way smoother and faster than Firefox in any benchmark you care to find, including your own.

Safari 99%, Firefox 1%. It would probably be the opposite if Firefox wasn't slow and bloated and if it had a real Mac interface and not the faked stuff it has now (the friggin address bar *dissappears* for a second when you start typing!)

    I use two

    Safari 70% of the time
    Firefox 30% of the time

Firefox has alot of plugins (which I like) but I only really use them every once in awhile. I heard Firefox 3.5 is a bit faster than Safari; Any truth to that?

    On my Mac:

    90% - FireFox 3.5
    5% - Safari 4
    5% - Opera

The speed of Safari isn't worth the tradeoff in customizability/versatility of FireFox.

I use Safari only when something doesn't work quite right in FF. And also for browsing porn.

Opera for a few minor things.

Web browsers I have but I never use: Camino, OmniWeb.

    On my WinPC, in order:

    Chrome
    FF
    Opera
    IE

    On Linux:

    FF
    Conq

Firefox is my main browser. I only use Safari 4 for watching shows on ABC.com because Adblock Plus has conflicts with the ABC player.

For me I only use one browser, Safari. I tried Firefox 3 (I think it was that release) for a week or so after it came out, it didn't feel any faster to me, and I didn't see what the added benefits were by using that instead of Safari which I was used to. I also preferred the way that Safari worked seamlessly with syncing bookmarks with both my computer and my iPod, something that Firefox couldn't offer from what I could tell at the time. I am perfectly satisfied with Safari and have no need to feel like I need to use anything else.

This is not a Firefox vs Safari thread, so please keep your opinions on that subject to yourself.

    On my mac...

Safari - 95% (Some facebook apps seem to break for some reason)
Firefox - 4.99% (To get mafia wars to work right on facebook)
Opera - .01% (Just to make sure the other two are broken)

Once again, this is not a Firefox vs Safari thread, so please keep it nice and short and simple and either respond to the asked question or don't post at all.

On my Mac, I use Firefox 99% of the time. Then, in decreasing order of usage, it's probably Opera 10, then Safari. I also download Camino from time to time just to see how it's doing but I rarely use it.

On my PC, I also use Firefox about 99% of the time. Then, in decreasing order, probably Opera 10, Internet Explorer 8, Chrome, and Safari. However, I rarely use Safari on Windows except to see how the latest version on Windows is doing (just so I know).

I like to keep various browsers around for two purposes. First is testing Web pages I develop with the "big four" rendering engines (Gecko, Trident, WebKit, and Presto). However, it's also nice to open a rarely-used browser to, for example, log into a website with a different (such as Gmail) with a different account from your normal one or when other people want to use your computer quick (although I'd never give them IE for that purpose :D).
