I currently have 5 cases for my iPhone that’s around 8 months old. This is actually pretty good for me but I often find myself constantly wanting new different cases to try out different brands I’ve not tried before. I’m reluctant to right now though as feel 5 is plenty…. Interested to hear how many others have!

Bought 1 case for my 11 Pro Max (purchased at launch almost 2 years ago).
Still have that same case - no issues at all - and still like it!

I generally just buy one case and stick with it!!

Two is too many ?

Thinking back I don’t think I’ve ever replaced a case on one of my phones and I usually keep them a minimum of two years. I’m really fussy with the one I choose right when I buy the new phone and once it’s on that’s the one my phone lives with.

I have been using one case since 2016 and that's the caudabe sheath. I purchased a total of 5 cases for my 12PM this time around but I still only use the Caudabe Sheath. I switch cases once in a blue moon.

I purchased a Spigen case for my iPhone 12 which at first was okay. But when I went to remove it, the task turned out to be a major project. It was like it was welded to the phone. I finally removed it by cutting part of it away.

I wound up buying a generic case from Amazon which not only is easier to remove but actually looks better.

By the way, I was not the only one having difficulty removing a Spigen case. Lots of anecdotes on the web of folks having the same problem.

I have never had more than one case at a time, and I only replace them if the material starts to wear or I get a new phone.

Any pics of the sheath?

As you can see it's dirty and pretty much worn in. I gave up trying to keep it clean

I only use magsafe so that narrows it down for cases, no point having the feature and not using it.
Nomad black rugged.
Caudabe Synthesis Stealth black. Caudabe nailed it with this one.

It may seem like I have too many cases, but I am also holding onto my Pro Max for another year. I have 2 Caudabe Lucid Clear cases, Caudabe Electric Blue & Ocean Blue Sheath, Caudabe Frost Veil, 2 Peel Clear Soft cases (got them for free), 4 off brand silicon cases from AliExpress, 3 off brand clear cases from AliExpress and a Spigen Ultra Hybrid case. I rotate them every few days as I clean any debris in my cases. This is actually a small amount for me. I used to buy 20-25 cases for each iPhone even though I upgraded every year - 18 months.

Only case I use is a Rhinoshield. Just replaced the 2.5 year old one on my XR due to wear and tear. Replaced it with another one. I find the bumper case is adequate protection for my use and give me a better grip on the phone.

I probably buy 1-3 cases per phone I own. Right now I'm on my second one for my iPhone I've had since Xmas time, probably won't get another one anytime soon.

The most I'll get is two. There was one iPhone model that I bought 7 or 8 cases for...once I upgraded to a new iPhone all those cases became worthless overnight. Lesson learned.

You guys are killing me. I was totally happy with my white Apple silicone case. Then I read on here that the Caudabe case is fully MagSafe compatible so I ordered that one. But that’s it.

Received the case this morning. Disappointed. ?. The magnet is strong enough to hold on my car holder/charger. Although it only sometimes charges. The left side is not as tight to the phone and shows a sliver of silver down that front edge. And last and most disappointing- the case has a noticeable bump I can feel and see at the top of the MagSafe circle on the back of the case. I emailed Caudabe. Too expensive for poor quality.
