Ok... 25/20 is above average vision right? That's what I had in my early twenties.

What happened?
20/20 is considered normal vision.

20/10 would be better.

20/30 would be worse.

Also remember that you have both near and far vision.

If I understand correctly, if you have 20/10 vision, it would mean that at 20 feet you can read what a normal person can read at 10 feet. Likewise, if you have 20/200 vision, that means you can read at 20 feet what a normal person can read at 200 feet.
 
I was told by my eye doctor that your vision changes very slowly and you may not notice until BOOM you need bifocals.

That is what happened to me. I was doing fine one day then I got hit with a whammy. I couldn't see properly. Went to the eye doctor got an exam and I was good to go.

Bifocals. I thought only old people wore those things, geez I am only 45!
 
It's strange that some people seem to have seven different settings and some people have more. Ahh well, I don't care. I think this thread's hysterical. :D
