How many external hard drives do you happen to have connected to your setup for all media? Right now, I have a 1TB. I know that in "advanced settings" you can only point your itunes library to look at one root folder on one hard drive, not multiple hard drives. So I was just wondering if you're able to connect multiple hard drives to it and if so, how does it work exactly? I'm needing to purchase another hdd pretty soon....mine is filling up quickly.

If you go into iTunes Preferences->Advanced and uncheck the following two options:-

Keep iTunes Media Folder Organised
Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library

Then you'll be able to keep your media on as many different hard drives as you like and when you add it to iTunes it wont be copied to your iTunes media library folder.
