How many gift cards can you use......

Is there any limit on the number of gift cards you can use when buying something like a rMBP? For example, if I wanted to buy a rMBP and had 10 gift cards of various amounts, would an Apple accept them?

And do gift cards expire?

I believe its 8 online. No they don't expire.

It's 8 online. I suspect that with a rep you may be able to use more, but I don't know that for sure.
