I don't really like iTunes Radio, it repeats the same song too many times. Spotify is the best for music discovery for me.

Have you used it in the last couple of weeks? People are saying that Apple improves the algorithm and I want to say they might be right. The other day was the first time really using it since updating to 7.1, and I didn't get a single repeat over a 6 hour period. Pre-7.1, I would get repeats within the first hour.

iTunes radio still keeps trying to steer me towards the cr*p coming out of the old major lables run by the "money men." Less than it used to, but it's annoying as h*ll.

Never!!
But I think we are missing 1 voting choice in this poll. Perhaps you assumed that everyone using iOS device have the iTunes radio. Not everyone does. I think you should have add a vote option I don't have it.

I never listen to it because I don't have it.

Yeah, I never thought to add that in, and unfortunately polls can't be modified.

I use it about 3-4 hours a day. I also agree with the others that it's the best streaming service available. The ads aren't too intrusive like Pandora and the audio quality is pretty good for free. I tried Pandora pay service and every device I tried it on I was left underwhelmed at the advertised 192kps.

I'd pay for iTunes Radio if Apple decides to offer a full blown streaming service like Pandora or Spotify.

I can't stand iTunes radio. The noticeable drop in volume bugs me.

They use the sound check feature. Basically no artificail change in volume is allowed. Perfect for oldies and I hate supe loud music that is so obviously computerized.

I listen to it about 7 hours per week. Great service.

I use Spotify. But man, if iTunes had an on-demand service LIKE Spotify? I'd leap on that, even if it cost more.

Same here. I would switch over from Google All Access. Hopefully the rumors turn out to be true and Apple comes out with a full blown subscription streaming service this year.

I usually listen to iTunes Radio during my half hour commute to work. I've found that their classical station plays a decent variety of music than the other stations I've created. Overall, I usually listen to iTunes Radio around 1.5 hours a week. Otherwise, it's Spotify/Podcasts the rest of the time.

I love iTunes Radio. I usually listen everyday for al least an hour. There's something going on that I don't get ads though even though I don't have iTunes Match. Please don't fix it Apple!

I too live iTunes Radio especially since both of my iPads and 5S are jailbroken. I have the unlimited skips mod installed.

It took awhile to create just the right stations but it took trying band after band to get just the right blend of music that I want to play.

I listen anywhere from 10 minutes to a few hours or more per day.

Why can't this bug happen to me!

Now I'm going to smell my friends coffee at a participating McDonalds.

I don't listen to it at all, tbh...

I'm not on 7.1 yet, but on <7.1 there's no electronic music, or any genre within that has music I enjoy. Also, listening to music on an iPad is just a pain in the ass...

On average about 2-3 hours a day.
On my commute and when running.

The only thing I dont like is that I search for a song and create a station but it never plays the song I created the station fr.

Never.

Oh, I would like to, but unfortunately Apple does not allow me to listen to it because of the nationality of my credit card  ;)

Weekdays I may have it on for a few hours, though I prefer Pandora as that service provides a more accurate playlist that I'm looking for.

Commercials?

I've found myself listening to iTunes Radio far more than I expected.

Out of curiosity, how do the number of commercials compare between the two services? When I tried Pandora recently (but briefly), it seemed to have a lot more commercials than iTunes. iTunes never plays more than one at once, and seems to play only a few 30-second commercials per hour. Pandora was playing multiple commercials in a row when I was trying it. Anyone notice a difference?

(Obviously talking about the free version of both.)
