I normally get around 4 hours of useage with about 20% left til I have to charge my iphone up again. That normal? what about you and at what % do you normally out your phone on charge?

I can usually go all day without needing to charge my phone. Normal usage for me is a good deal of standby, Bluetooth and wifi always on, push mail for about 4 email accounts, and about 1-2 hours of gaming while at work :D. I'd probably consider that light usage for the most part.

Usually charge every night and I get down to around 15-20%.

well currently for me

i have 46% left

usage- 2 hours, 36 minutes

Standby- 18 hours, 30 minutes

For me:

62%

2 hours, 53 minutes usage
5 hours, 39 minutes standby

This is about normal for me.

As of right now.. Im at hour, 39 minutes of usage..
3 hours 33 minutes of standy... and im at 80 percent...
Today im actually not using my phone that much.. But i usually have to hit the charger around 2pm. Im on my phone constantly.. twitter, facebook, sms, phone calls.. I use it alot.. I even went out and bought the mophie juice pack... Thats a life saver..

Ok thats good then least I know mine is normal in terms of using the phone lol

Depends on how I'm using it, but normal work day I'll have about 30-40% battery left after 15 or 20 hours of use.

56%

3 hours 14 minutes usage
21 hours 30 minutes standby

It's a pain for me to get these numbers because it seems like I'm always either respringing for something or plugging it into my computer to do some development.

With all the switches off except WiFi, having lower brightness level, not many apps on the multi-task bar, I can get 8-10 hours. No music playing to pad the stats. I got 10 1/2 hours a few times with 10h 40m as my record with mostly WiFi browsing. This is on 4.0 and after a full drain.

I notice my battery is starting to drain faster after that first 1%. Used take over 30 min, but now slightly below it. But sometimes the percentage meter acts weird and I could still be at 97% after 50 min or sometimes stuck at 99% after a full charge. Turning it off remedies it. If I get 4 hrs before the 70% mark and 5 hours before 60%, I am going at a 10 hour rate as the last half of the 50% will drain faster.

Is 4 hours normal? Well, it depends what you are doing. Location services, push notification, Bluetooth, 3G/Edge on, graphic intensive 3D gaming, and high brightness can all be a drain to your battery.

Airplane mode + WiFi on = 8-10 hours for me sans music.

I get 5.5 to 6.5 hours of usage on average. It doesnt matter if I have 5.5-6.5 hours of standby or 2.5 days. I would imagine much more if I had it in airplane mode + wifi on

So if I turn off 3G and locations services I should get better usage time? Does anybody keep 3G on when using wifi?

I usually charge mine every day and a half. Right now,my usage is 3 hours with 15 minutes with 72% left of battery. Mostly play music and every now and then,I play farmville.

I can get about 7-10 hours on a single charge (of usage) while leaving 3G, Wifi and Bluetooth on. This is mostly browsing the web, audio streaming, and the like. Less about gaming. Gaming seems a lot closer to 4-5 hours if it pushes the GPU in any way.

I normally charge every night, but I've been able to go 3 days without a charge sometimes if I'm not fiddling with it too much.

iPhone4: I unplug at around 5:30 a.m. and at around 10:00 p.m. I'm usually around 35 to 40% (this is moderate to heavy use). If I have meetings and don't use it very much, I'll have around 50 to 60% by 10:00 p.m.

My wife's is the same.

At 87% currently. Usage 1 hour, 25 minutes. Standby 12 hours, 31 minutes.

Currently at 1%.

8h 47 min of usage.
Wifi on
3G off
Brightness set to around 40%

20h 24 min standby.

As an avid reader with a never ending desire for continuing education, I've read everything Apple has published about their batteries.

I've followed their suggestions exactly.

I get the same results you do.

I had Endomondo GPS tracking a long walk while listening to the iPod with 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned off for almost 6 hours and had 55% remaining.

After a calibration I got

Useage - 8 Hours, 25 Minutes
Standby - 1 Day, 2 Hours

Brightness 40%
WiFi on all day
3G on
Heavy texting from 8am - 11pm
Facebook, twitter, email, photo's app etc

Damn how did you get so much usage out of it? do you turn other things off on it?

Does the brightness matter alot here? Wasn't aware there was a brightness % available to see?
