How many hours a day (average, obviously) do you spend using a Mac?
Around 5-6 minimum.
Too much...i need something to do other than the computer...freaking geek
Go play some sport
What kind of chair do you have to stop yourself totally wrecking your back? My sport doctor told me 8 hours of sitting down in a day is crazy, my hamstrings will get rock hard and my lower back will take a beating...
when i go to school i dont get much time, and until last week i did not get home to 6-7 sometimes even 8 at night, even then i was on about 2-3 hrs
now i'd be getting home at 4 so i'll be spending about 4-5 hrs
on weekends, WAY TOO much, today i did nothing other then site and my iBook and take a shower. Today i was on about 10hrs
While I've been on holidays about 4-8 hours on average. When I start at uni next week I expect this to go down a little (very little).
Only 0-4 hours a day, unless I have a freelance project going and then that number jumps to about 12-14.
Probably too much for my own good. But its a mac, so give me a break.
24 hours and 37 minutes.
So you fly around the world all day do you then?
No... read carefully.
Hmm, I dont get it?
Probably about 20 minutes.
I didn't realise you did your many hours of MacRumoring on your Dell.
Well, I may as well since I'm on it administering patches every few hours. It's an attention-seeking little bastard.
Ha, nice one. Where's Lacero?
Wait, what? are you saying you spend 24 hours some times and 37 minutes other times? no that doesnt make sence. Im really:
Probably an Aeron. damn those are nice.
Perhaps clayj is also a little mad, has two personalities and one spends 24 hours on the mac whilst the other only appears for 37 minutes... It's the only logical explanation.
Have you got a link?
Oh sure: link, but only if you want to pay $899 for one.
its funny ... at my work its filled with aeron's (theres a section of the grant that simply pays for aesthetics and stylish furniture) and all the styling is herman miller ... and people still complain about the chairs and find them immensly uncomfortable. I dont' really understand how with all the customization and to be honest i'll suggest they're just crazy.
Any cheaper chairs you know of that are very good for your health?
ummmm... well theres the fake Aerons, but those are bad. But your talking to the man thats sitting on an old wood chair so I cant really talk. Best option is to get a used Aeron from ebay.
Ok, well your still going to have to pay like $400 for one off ebay so maybe not.
