I'm on my 2nd 4s. I had to get it replaced because when taking video's or on speaker phone, the phone was not picking up any audio.

Learned this when i had an entire conversation on speaker phone only to hear the other person go "are you there?" "hello?!?!"

was pretty funny at the time. Haven't had a single problem with my 2nd one.

One

Still on my release day 4s! Almost took it to the Genius Bar twice though:

1st time because battery was draining about 25% an hour. Disabled Push e-mail on MS Exchange and solved the problem.

2nd time because the phone was stuck in headphone mode. Cleaned the jack socket with a Q-tip and voila.

I'm on number 5 since launch.

1st - AirPlay was dropping real bad on my 4S and not my other devices. Apple swapped it without hesitation.

2nd - I was being throttled by AT&T. Called them and they didn't tell me I was being throttled. Said everything was okay on their end and that I need to contact Apple. Went to the Apple Store to see what they thought and they gave me a replacement.

3rd - The 2nd replacement was getting tons of static while on calls like other users in this thread. Apple swapped it no problem.

4th - Went back to Apple Store the same week I got my 3rd and was asking about the static. Genius couldn't replicate but they swapped it anyways.

5th - (current) - I called Apple about my 4th phone still having the static issue. Was told to contact AT&T and get a new SIM. I did, waited about 2 months and still didn't notice an improvement. Called Apple and they sent me another one.

I was just curious as to what some of you have experienced with this phone. I got my 4s on launch day last year and as of today I'm on my fourth iPhone 4s. The first one I got had an issue with the camera light. The light was stuck on and would not turn off even when I powered off the phone. Apple replaced it once they saw it. The second phone I had, I shattered the screen in a small fit of rage one night :D My third phone I received via Fedex and after a couple of days I noticed that my volume down button on the side of the phone wasn't working. It was sticking and then it would not function at all. I took it to the apple store and they replaced it today with my fourth new iPhone. I have had an iPhone since the first generation and I've never had to replace one. I was just curious to know a few others experience's to see if maybe someone else has had more phones replaced then I have.

I've never had an iPhone replaced. I owned the original, 3GS and now 4S. They've all been spectacular phones for me.

I am on my 3rd and I am not a happy camper as to why.

Wanting one badly in mid-November, I traveled an hour north to get it at an Apple Store as no white 64G 3G ones were available local. Got home and I had the OCNA issue (Outgoing calls no audio). Took it back three days later and tried it out at the store and in that city and no problems. Got home and the next day same issue. Occurred on maybe 3 of 10 calls. Took it back a few days later and got a refund. However I was out 118$ in gas money and no phone.

Got home and the VERY next day I see that they have one at the local Best Buy. Figuring if I have to take it back it's only a 3 mile drive I went for it. However, the serial number only differed by three characters to the two I returned up north. No issues with the 3rd phone until LAST month when the same issue arose and happened maybe 1 in 10 calls.

This really upset me because in mid-December I had a heart attack and now the iPhone is my ONLY communication with the outside world should a health issue arise. Sure, THEY can hear me, but I cannot hear them when I call and this issue arises (10 to 20% chance). Next time I travel up north I will get a re-furb.

Mike

Just one, back from late December as a birthday present. Never had any issues with it :)
