I guess it would make sense to have two or three models only support 4g lte. So does that mean we will have 3 that support for 4g lte and 3 that support 5g for countries that are rigorously building out 5g like here in the US? So 6 total? Plus, for the 5g models, there’s little doubt that they will support the carriers’ 5g bands (will it support Verizon’s low band?) but will the unlocked model support all carriers’ bands?

This is one of those wait and see things. Don't know if anyone knows the exacts of the new phones but Apple at this point. Also, even though these tipsters are usually accurate, with all that's going on in the world today, nothing's official until Apple says so. Things may change.

Please don't read Forbes for tech news. If you want accurate up to date Apple news, just read MacRumors and 9to5Mac.

There will be 4 new iPhones this fall. Not 6.

5.4" iPhone 12
6.1" iPhone 12 Plus
6.1" iPhone 12 Pro
6.7" iPhone Pro Max

All will feature 5G.
