I sold my 6+ to get the 6s+ because I wanted 2GB of ram and a better camera. I will be happy waiting for the 7s or iPhone 8 (whatever comes next year).

I've owned the 4s, 5, 6+, and now 6s+. Very happy with the 6s+ and think it could last me 2+ years if I wanted it to, but I'll probably upgrade next year as I'm on the Apple Upgrade Program.

I'm very happy with Apple. I recently tried a Nexus 6 and was reminded why I left Android in the first place, years ago.

As primarily a Google fan (Apple is a close second) - it surprises me the hate and negativity that the iPhone 7 is bringing in not only the media but also forums like these. I don't understand it, but it doesn't bother me too much. People are free to do what they want. If everyone was like me, this world would be a very boring place.

I hope for wireless charging, rapid charging, an all glass body (like the 4s), significant battery life improvements, a better camera. Hey, I can dream. :).

wow .... many user plan to skip this yrs [ 7 ]

i really really wish apple bring all of us big suprise at the keynote , everything rumors will opposite and magic stuff show up ....... wow that feeling relax ,:D

Many of us aren't buying phones if the one we have still does what we need it to do.

New features are nice. Sometimes.... But, do I need that feature? I've lived this many years without it, probably not needed.

Now, if I was in the market to buy a phone, I would compare all features from all phones on the market, and make a decision.

Here's my list
iPhone
iPhone 16Gb (wasn't released when I got my first phone. When it came out, I gave my 8Gb to my wife and got it)
3G
3GS
4
4S
6
6S Plus
SE

So the only flagship ones I skipped were the 5 and 5S, during which time I was on Android as I thought they were too small. That's kind of ironic because my current phone is now an SE as I got a bit fed up of the big phones and wanted something smaller and pocket friendly

I guess I just like changing my phone :D

Not much insight on this thread from the thread starter. I think everyone already covered all bases on this one. iPhone 7 will be an interesting one. I'm curious to see how the Preorders go. See you all at the Launch.

went from note 3, 4, S6 edge then i moved to the iphone 6s plus last year and will be moving to note 7 shortly but will certainly leaving options open for the 7 plus. Depends what it brings.

Since I been with iPhone, I have had the 4s, 5s & my current one is the 6+. My husband has the 5c. I've no plans to get anything newer in the near future. I am usually always a model or two behind the new phones, just due to financial reasons. I'd stay with the newest all the time most likely if the funds allowed.

I've bought every model upon their release since the original. However I'm not counting the SE, since it's merely a recycled model.

While its been fun and interesting, iOS isn't maturing while becoming more useful like Android has. That in combination with the huge bezels and cumbersome size of iPhone 6S Plus, has made me more eager than ever to pass on iPhone 7.

I'll enjoy my soon to be delivered Galaxy Note 7, while eagerly awaiting the upcoming Nexus. Android N, is looking very good indeed.

buying : 1st / 3g/3gs/4/4s/5/5s/6/6s
skip : 5C/iphone SE / next will be 7

so .... since tim cook leader , i skip 3 ..... wow that good leader .....
Well I think you missed a few that you skipped. 6+ and 6s+. There was your first problem. Next how can you say you skipped iPhones when you bought the flagship iPhone that year, and passed the budget phone? The 5C and SE were released durning the same year as the flag ships 5S and 6S and 6S+. It was a choice to buy the flagship by you. Serious this is such a stupid comment to make.

You are saying you will skip the 7 and you don't even know what the phone looks like. Come on. You actually think anyone is taking you serious? You lost me saying you skipped the iPhone 5C, but you bought the 5S. The phones came out at the same time. You made a choice to by the flagship, but you did not pass on the iPhone for that year.
