How many iphone X Available in Store at launch day ????

most likely iPhone X will not be available on launch day in Apple stores. The logic is not to piss people off by making them wait on line and then get nothing

But based on Pre-orders likely being 10X the production level (especially now that Face ID, the solution to a problem that no one wanted solved, is causing them to slow down further), it's safe to assume the folks expecting a pre-order poop show are going to be proven right...
On the other hand, even if they only ship one or two per Apple store, that will be enough to get people acting crazy hoping to get one, especially after pre-orders slip to May of 2028.
Essentially: the rich get richer
Come on = at least 1 in store for demo
So who want to stay late night preorder ? that doesnt seen right
i would guess between 5000 and 10,000 in New York City on release day.

20-40 being the highest option??
there will be 1200+ people waiting in line at a single store.. you think they're going to turn away 1160 new yorkers who have stood in line for hours/days? that could be a problem..
if they're only going to have 0-40 phones in the stores, they better tell people this prior to them getting in line.

Guy at my local store said zero. Only pre-order pick up. Though they will be available to try out. My guess they will sell out within minutes online. (US will be different and keep a few for those that have queued up in some stores). But basically this is going to sell out faster than anything before it. New batch just before Xmas. Big volume by Chinese New Year.
BTW why do people keep calling this the $1000 phone? The 8 is $1300 in Europe. The X is $1600 ! I'm thinking of it price-wise like an iMac. Which is probably fair because I'll use it almost as much. And I'll have to buy from Apple direct without contract or I won't get one till spring.

if this is true, i think we'll see an official Apple announcement saying something to this effect..
as in "Don't go to the stores on nov.3.. you won't be able to buy an iPhone X on that day.. order online"

Most likely none like last years 7 Plus, where Apple simply said stay home launch day as no brick and mortar stores will have any stock
