What does that have to do with the OP's question? Absolutely nothing.. But i'm sure that everyone is glad that you think that carrying around two separate devices, is "the best of both worlds".

explain how i did not answer he asked how many iphones i had i said 0

I have 2, AT&T version and other is factory unlocked for when I travel overseas. My work wants me to keep my local number working when I'm outside US

You could always use just the factory unlocked for both AT&T and travelling overseas! I can understand why you'd might want a second phone for a backup though. And as long as you pop your AT&T SIM card in the factory unlocked phone, your number will be the same local one.

I have 1 3GS, possibly selling it to buy the iPhone 5 if it appeals to me. Its shocking to see how many phones people have on here! Not that I wouldn't do the same thing if I could afford it, but wow...

I have an iPhone 4 and I also have a 2G iPhone (4GB) which is jailbroken and unlocked. I primarily use the 2G if I go overseas or when my iPhone 4 dies, and I'm charging it.

iPhone 4 32GB for Me

iPhone 4 16GB for Wife and Each son so there is 3

I kept my old 3GS White 32GB for a spare just in case because I do not buy the Applecare for my iphone's, also if someone were to lose their phone instead of paying full retail, the 3GS comes in handy, also if I go out of the country I can use this one as well.

Each of us only has one.

In the household, we have 9 iPhones. Only 4 are activated. The 4 active phones are 3-IP4s and my original IP. I am going to upgrade to the IP5.

Why don't you sell off your old ones? I'm sure you could get some money for them, and if you add that money together you could get a free iPhone 5.

I carry 2 daily, ones my personal line on T-mobile and the other if business on at&t

I have -1. I used to have zero, but then I decided to get a cell phone, and went with Android instead. So my iPhone count is now -1.

I carry 2; iP4 personal phone, and iP4 work phone.

I have 3 other (iP4's) in the house though that I bought, (& pay for) does thast count? (Wife, Daughter, Mother)
