Haha, I can't help but notice that you seem to be one for the "latest technology". ;)

my iPod history

3rd Gen 15 Gig - gave to Mom
4th Gen iPod photo 40 Gig (sold)
1 Gig shuffle (sold)
4 Gig Silver iPod mini (sold)
5 Gen 60 Gig White (sold)
512 MB shuffle (sold)
2 Gig iPod nano black (sold)
1 Gig iPod nano white (returned)

and I will be getting my 2nd Gen 20 Gig in a couple days - yes I am going backwards LOL.

jeez...racks brain....

1) 1G ipod- don't even remember anything about it
2) 30 gig 3G ipod- had this one for a while- went through a few of them- CompUSA had a nice deal where they'd give me a new one every other year b/c i had the protection plan...
3) 512 shuffle- bought it to see what it was all about- sold it the next week
4) blue mini- 6gig - loved it- sold it on Craigslist a few weeks ago
5) black 2Gig nano- we're slowly getting used to each other

in my head- i'm still transitioning from the 30gig to the 2gig

i'm doing this thing though-
i'm trying to listen to my entire music library once before i listen to any of it twice
so i'm watching my playcounts very closely...etc

call me crazy

LOL

We always sell our iPods a month before the 1 year warranty ends and buy new ones. I don't like having a computer or iPod out of warranty so I constantly update ours.

And here I am worried that I would be wasting money by upgrading this soon. So far, only

iPod photo 30GB (with only 500mb to spare)

I am anxiously awaiting Apple's next generation, as I am about to run out of space.

I got a Mini blue a couple of weeks before the Nano was launched. I would love to get the nano but decided to sell off my Mini to get the Video.

So 2.

  • 2G 10GB iPod, which made me the coolest kid in my class
  • 1GB iPod Shuffle, which really didn't make me anything
  • 5G 30GB iPod with video, which made me just like everyone else :)

I've had a 3rd Gen 15gb and a 6gb mini. I did enjoy the 3rd gen and mini and now want a 5g 30gb :)
