2 old broken 4gb minis

Hoping to get a new touch in September if new ones come out...NEED a 32gb

So a total of 10

10 iPods

There are 10 in my home, my 2 shuffles, my two nanos, my touch, my mothers iphone (if that counts) and her shuffle, my sisters nano, my other sisters touch and my dads mini.
So I have 5 personally:apple::apple::apple:

Far Too Many

Daughter 1:
ipod Mini - dead
1st generation nano
8gb touch
30gb classic

Daughter 2:
ipod Mini - dead
2nd generation nano
8gb touch
60gb classic

Wife:
ipod Mini - still alive
pink shuffle

Me:
40gb classic - dead
1st gen shuffle - best audio
2nd gen shuffle
8gb 2nd gen nano
80gb classic, signed by my favorite band
16gb touch

16 in total, but nearly 20% are dead.
I've promised to get my daughter an iphone when it comes out in New Zealand, but Vodafone's plans are beyond belief in terms of greed and data-stinginess.

There are 7 iPods in my house, and only 4 people living here.

- I have a 32GB Touch and a 1GB Blue Shuffle for working out.

- My sister has an 80GB Classic.

- My brother has an 80GB classic and the 8GB touch that he got with the college deal.

- My Mom has a 30GB 4th gen

- I also have a 20GB 3rd gen that still works but we have no use for.

Not to mention how many iPods I've had and sold to upgrade to the newest versions. I think I'm a bit obsessed.

My 80gb 5.5G, 2G Shuffle
My bro's 80gb 5.5G
Mothers 16gb Touch
Pops 4gb Nano
Sisters 4gb Nano

6!

We seem to have 6 and there are only two of us! Is that too many really?
I live alone, and yet 4 iPods have managed to move into my house.

  • iPod shuffle, first gen (1gig)--connected to a pair of twee speakers and living on the bathroom vanity
  • iPod shuffle, second gen (1gig)--for trips (I clip this to my seatbelt when I sleep on a plane: little chance of being ripped off, little chance of running out of battery life
  • iPod Classic (160gig)--for everyday and everything (entire music and video library, thus far)
  • iPod Touch (16gig)--for no apparent reason other than it is shiny and pretty and I have no discipline when it comes to gadgets (and no resistance when it comes to Apple)
An iPhone may come home with me on Friday--I'm still wavering. If I do get the Phone, the Touch will go to my sister.

Counting my brother and me even though we're both away for college, 6:

My 32gb touch and 30 gb video
My brother's 80 gb video
My dad's 80gb video and 4gb shuffle
My mom's 16gb touch

well...3G iPod 20 GB-broken but still holds a special place in my heart, 2G iPod 2 GB nano-served as a replacement for my first iPod, now blongs to my mom, two 3G iPod nanos one for my bro. and the other is my cousins not in my house but i help her with every aspect regarding it, and i convinced her to buy it so it counts, then there is the pièce de résistance my 16 GB iPod touch bought the day it came out, which was actually a few days before the scheduled release! plus soon there will be another an 8GB iPod is looming in the near future as i am preparing to take advantage of the back to school promo with my new :apple:notebook!

total=6

4GB 1st gen iPod Nano - holds a charge for like 2 hours only, been trying to sell it for a year

8GB 3rd gen iPod Nano

one suggestion would be to not advertise how long it keeps a charge right off the bat.

1 - 1st gen shuffle
1 - 2nd gen shuffle

think it's time to sell the touch and buy a classic + iphone though :D
