a 'forum purge' is not going to happen, and is quite frankly, not truly needed.

Thats all well and good but how many members did that forum have. It would be a big task to email all 98,000 members and get replies.

It was a generic mass e-mail, it wasn't personalized, and the link in it just went to a page everybody went to where you had to enter your username and password. Currently, they have over three million members.
