Yeah... thank my parents for living in the middle of nowhere. Driving back and forth to High School was over 100 miles a day. That, and having driven back and forth from NY to NC about 20 times adds up.now that's quite a bit for your age.
dang, 100 miles to school and back? now that's crazy.Yeah... thank my parents for living in the middle of nowhere. Driving back and forth to High School was over 100 miles a day. That, and having driven back and forth from NY to NC about 20 times adds up.
It's getting better though. I bought my own car two years ago. It's got 45k miles on it but only 15k of those are from this year... most of them from driving to work during the summer.
yeah, it's sad, but i have a bit of that habit also. i'm on my third vehicle already, and i'm only 23......and did i say new vehicle?I've got a nasty habit of getting rid of cars without owning them for a long time, but I know I've racked up over 100k miles over the past 14 years of driving.
Same age and around the same miles, agreed w/ post on the Midwest and it does rack a bunch of miles going to a school 40 miles each way, every day around 80 miles for about 4 years, and a bunch of cross-country road trips during that time in school, I'd say 200-250k. I remember my first year when I got a old buick park avenue it had 75k miles when I first started driving it, when I stopped using it 2 years later it has 185k on it, that was 2 years ago.I'm 20 and have probably driven somewhere between 150k and 200k miles.
