How many movies on the iPad in iTunes get released at the same time as it showing in theaters ?

Which one? If the movie was released >= 70-90 days ago that would not be a surprise as that is the normal number of days for a streaming release.

There have been discussions about shortening the release window. One proposal was 17 days, $30.

This has nothing to do with iPads but with the iTunes Store.
Release times probably won’t be immediately and will differ from country to country.

unlikely. the movies that do VOD at the same time as theater are generally very indie titles that only go to a limited number of theaters often only in major cities. something like a marvel film is fraking everywhere so they want you to go to the theater
