how many nits will the ipad have when turn on max? how will it be compared with x200t's 400 nits? ( btw nits is the measurement of brightness of the display)
errrr i want to know before i buy one, that's why i am asking, i thought you mac nerds would know the specification of the ipad inside out by now. Without knowing the nits level, how about you know if your ipad will be readable under the sun?

Since it isn't an AMOLED unit, it has a good chance of being readable in sunlight. I had a Storm2 for a few weeks and it was easy to see in direct sunlight, so there ARE screens that have the "oomph" to be viewable in broad daylight. Since the iPad isn't available for a while, what's the rush in knowing how bright the screen will be? All in due time, all in due time! 🙂
how do i know as a consumer know if the ipad was be viewable under the sun? what is the point of getting a ipad if i cant read ebook in a park or watch movie while waiting for the bus?
