It works beautifully; automatic, synced and safe. I just pull the SD card from my camera import it to my phone and let it work. Full resolution when I need it otherwise optimized. View attachment 613006

Sorry to dig up this old thread but I was searching for people who use the SD card reader for the iPhone.

Have you had an issue with Photos often failing to import a photo, and at the same time importing a duplicate of another photo? This happens nearly every time I import more than a few photos at a time with the SD reader, and it's infuriating!

I have a bug open with Apple but absolutely no movement on it so far.

Just wondering how many people use the Photo iCloud feature?
I'm using iCloud photos but not always (just important photos). Besides, I'm using Google photos (it's unlimited storage), GoogleDrive and OneDrive, I love both, because I can get larger storage to sync any file from my computer to my iPhone or other device.

Same here.
iCloud Photo Library has also been made avaialble to Windows users a few months back. Works flawless there as well, much better than Photostream. I always have my most recent photos available on my Windows PC.

It is actually lame that windows users, in terms of icloud photos backup do not have the option to sync but only download new content. For example, i take a blur photo, wait to be synced in icloud, gets downloaded onto my pc, delete it from my phone (and icloud automatically) BUT REMAINS on my pc, LAME.
