Same for me. My AWU does everything I need currently and so does my 13PM.

My 13PM will probably be at the point where it needs to be replacing next year, it's already at ~88ish percent battery health.
I got my 13PM replaced under AC+ like 6 months or so ago, so battery should easily last a year and likely more

apple watch 7 SS black watch (purchased at a discount when the 8s came out) to 10 alum black

iPhone 13PM to iPhone 16PM

My current phone doesn't update to iOS 18, so in order to get a new watch, I need to get a new phone! 😡

Haven't decided what to do yet. Will wait until the new phones and watches are in stores and I can check them out in person.
iPhone X or iPhone 8? Or you have an iPhone XS or 11 which is on the brink of collapse for iOS compatibility?

I already got a new Apple Watch this year so I’m doing the iPhone upgrade this year. XR to either a 14 Pro or 15 Pro once I get my next paycheck and the price drops more.

No plans yet but because the poll does not have maybe I went with no. Having a 15 Pro and AWU 2 I just update and then see what ever happens

Ohhh no wonder you have an original Apple Watch Ultra and Apple Watch Series 8… you can find bargains on an iPhone 13 or 14 for the lowest price if you don’t need Apple intelligence. If you want AI-infused Siri you can try to get the iPhone 16 or 15 Pro.

I had completed my pre-order of the iPhone 16 Pro Max with the 1 TB storage option and decided to cancel my order after sleeping on it. I'm going to squeeze another year out of my iPhone SE gen 2 that I bought in August of 2020. I just installed iOS 18 on it and I'm hoping it doesn't kill my battery life even faster. Just couldn't bring myself to spending the money right now as I'm paying off some other debts and what not. I love the new iPhone's design and specs though and I am certainly due for an updated model.

I tried the Ultra1 and S8 when they came out, and ended up keeping the S8 and returned the Ultra. I'm not that interested in AI, and wouldn't mind hanging on to my X for another year or two. The only reason I'm considering upgrading my phone is because I'd like to get the S10 watch. You are right that the iPhone 13 or 14 would fit my needs -- I just have to find the right deal, which isn't always so simple with older phone models.

They are decent iPhones that can last for years, run iOS 18 and you can get watchOS 11. Get the 14 Plus if you want bigger screen and if you want purple, yellow, or lighter blue colors. Both models of the standard 13 and 14 share the same A13 chip so get it according to your color preference. I would get the 14 if I want light purple, or the latter if you want lower prices and the dark green color, pink, or the colors present in both of these iPhones: Midnight, starlight, and product red.

Both iPhones have similar camera capabilities, displays, and are the same structure. You can interchangeably use an iPhone 14 case on a 13 and vice versa on regular sized models.
